Excellent article and I also think the long term prospects for healthcare, in terms of investment returns, are excellent. It’s only a hunch but science is moving on with such pace, companies in this sector can only benefit and produce more.

I only have a small holding in Syncona but I also agree that the BB Healthcare fact sheets are so informative and well written I will be investing in it as well soon. I know not a correct reason to invest, but the fact sheets fill me with much confidence in management as they are written with such authority and conviction with lots of information.

Keep up the good work. I still working my way through your various articles and this has become one of my favourite sites for investment ideas/information. Brilliant!

John, great comment, during this covid crisis the monthly factsheets from BBH have been essential reading providing clarity and a very honest view…..if only every manager put this much effort into their monthly reporting. I have been buying in chunks since mid 2018 and more than happy to tuck this away from for the long term (plus always nice it pays a good divdend). Currently it is my only play in the healtcare/life science space, but do get exposure through some other holdings without the same narrow focused so not sure I will buy further trusts in this space.

I’ve been in BBH since their IPO and I am chuffed to pieces, it’s almost my best performing investment and I intend to hold it for the long run. The investor communication is always a great read too. It’s published in the first few days of the month which is more than can be said for some managers with several billion under management; that in itself goes some way to giving me confidence about their stewardship of my money.
